This year, we launched an initiative that focuses on the needs of the homeless community in our home city, Chattanooga. Project 25:35 comes from Matthew 25:35 which says, “I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me in.”
WE ARE COLLECTING THE FOLLOWING SUPPLIES:
This fall, we have partnered with the Chattanooga Community Kitchen to host an event where we hand out the collected items in “go-bags”, which will be packed by local students who desire to be the hands and feet of Jesus in a tangible way. We will be accepting these items at all of our events from now until November 6th, so if you are planning on coming to one of our worship nights, please bring one of the items listed above! We are also collecting donations - 100% of all funds received for this initiative will go directly toward the purchase of supplies to meet the needs of Chattanooga’s homeless community.
